Question
Golf ball spin
When using Optishot the ball spins far more, and thus offline, than on an actual course in my case. This is probably so people wanting to develop a draw or fade can get relevant feedback. For that, is a great use for the product.
Given that there are several types of golf balls on the market, I suggest that Optishot have a selector to change ball type from "Low spin", "Medium spin", or "High spin" to match the type of ball the player actually uses on the course.
So if, for example, a player wanted to work on shaping shots then "High spin" could be chosen. Low spin might be used to replicate on course ball flight.
If it wasn't too complicated then the ball's performance could also be chosen to be "Distance" or "Spin". There are other characteristics of ball that contributors have mentioned such as roll and stop that could be addressed as well.
If I actually played like Optishot depicts my foursome would include Johnny Walker, Jose Cuervo, and Jim Beam.
