Course architect software.

Create an add-on package with course architect software so we can create our own courses. Wouldn't it be nice to create your local course to play during the winter so you can take more of your buddies money in the summer! If you had the time and the patience you could recreate all of your favorite courses and enjoy them any time you want.

MAN! thats one great idea.. I would love to replicate some local courses here in denver.. (arrowhead) or for that matter, come up with some pretty wild stuff like some of the fantasy courses that were on the older tiger woods games or golden tee.. Im all for this one! hell, i would pay a good bit of money to buy the software to do it. i say we make a push for this one!!

And have a community where people can download other's courses. This would greatly increase the number of available courses!

only a select few simulators have this ability, I think this would move Optishot to this elite group, Making courses from a local community or just a fantasy course available. upload.download options for people to try and rate your course.

Optishot should consider having a course layout location (Aerial Shot) hot key for each course. I use Monterrey Classic as my "home" course, have printed out an 8-1.2' x 11" color print of the course layout from a Pebble Beach scorecard which is posted next to my club stand. Now when I tee off I know where I am on the course. Would also provide users a chance to see all of the magnificent course graphics normally not seen from tee to green. Fantastic product !

Provide a method to delete unwanted clubs from clubsets. Right now you can remove a club from being selected by typing in 999 for the average distance but the club still remains in the clubset. It would seem a club delete function would not be too difficult to add to the software program.

That would be an awesome thing. I use Golflogix on my smart phone for the local courses, if that could be downloaded to the opti would be a good way to practice here in Wyoming when it is 25 below. Great Idea

I would absolutely love this feature and would rank it as Number 1 on my list of enhancements for the great system already. I'm sure people would pay for this feature. Hope you really consider it Optishot Management.

Having the ability to create my own course would be spectacular. I would love to create some local courses as well as what I can dream up in my head. If there was the ability to use google earth to map courses that would be a phenomenal feature. Also, being able to upload/download not only courses, but individual holes, to a golfshot community could make the plethora of possibilities limitless. I'm excited just thinking about it. The one thing I would request if this does come to fruition is for the courses/holes designed by the golfshot community to always be free downloads.

I would like to see the yardage to the green and the wind speed measure swopped since the yardage to the green gets blocked by my own shadow from the projector when addressing the ball. I'm right-handed and at this point don't really factor the wind of 1-3 mph into my swing, but really need to know the distance without vacating the area each time.

A course editor would be a great vehicle for making optishot the golf simulator. Content would help overcome the technical deficiency of launch angle that is probably holding back much of sales. If you have content, then all you have to upgrade is swing monitor hardware every few years. Let content creation go to the masses and see what kind of following you get.

I purchased the optishot a few months ago and find it to be a great practice tool. If course creation is available then I wouldn't hesitate investing more money into an add on launch angle monitor or whatever hardware upgrades Dancin' Dogg made available.

Companies such as Valve (creators of Half-Life, counterstrike, TF2) have profited greatly by making user created content available. User's sell their add-on content through "Steam". Look up the wiki on Steam software. It would be a route for selling and distributing Dancin' Dogg software, courses, create multiplayer golf rounds, and also allow for user created content, such as courses, to be sold.

Strongly agree - being able to create courses would be a huge advantage for DD/Optishot. Being able to create custom practice areas would be great as well.

IOS version of the software would allow players to take the system to the range. Other players could see the system in action.

Over five years ago the older version of optishot allowed optishot to use the Tiger Woods game courses, and courses could be made in the Tiger Woods game and then played in optishot. It may not be that difficult to reestablish course compatibility.
