You need to choose the right ball type.., REAL BALL or FOAM BALL or NO BALL, this parameter can be changed by moving the mouse in the right bottom corner, hover over BALL TYPE then choose the right one,
cheers!
All the clubs in the club set tend to slice, and go to far, no matter how much you close the club face. Driver re-selects itself while you are swinging a different club. When this happens you know even before the screen displays the club selected, because the shot has sliced and gone 340+ yards. Before I upgraded I had none of these issues, so my area, lighting, and any other variable has not changed. only the program has changed, and now none of my shots are consistent or true. Seriously thinking about resetting my system to an earlier version, at least that way my old OPtishot program would be back and I could practice. If anyone has had these issues and fixed them I would appreciate the assistance.

I use a real ball, have that set, and my lighting and setup did not change before or after the upgrade. I am also getting varied results, but many open club faces. My natural shot is straight or a slight draw, and have checked it outside and then at night on the Optishot. How can the accuracy be corrected/improved. What settings need to be adjusted to get it to read my correct club face (which I never had to do in the older version)
I too am having this issue ever since updating to version 2.5. Before everything was very close to accurate in terms of swing speed and ball flight and was probably averaging somewhere around 110-115 MPH in swing speed and maxing around 123 MPH Now it is telling me that I am swinging 145 MPH on average and hitting massive sliceses everytime, even when I purposly exagerate the swing with a closed face. This only started happening after switching to V2.5 so it has to be something in the update. Please help.
i have done everything suggested also I do not think adjusting the clubs is the answer, my optishot worked great before the update!!!
I'm having issues with swing results as well, especially with my driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. . I have spoken to a DD representative who made some suggestions but they haven't helped my problem. I am getting a cheap super shiny driver to try out, but i am less than optimistic. If i can't get it to work correctly with the new driver, I will exchange it for a new unit either with the retailer i purchased it from or from DD directly.
Version 2.4 worked fine for 10 months. I updated to 2.5 yesterday. It starts with the intro screen then exits. Restored 2.4 and it doesn't work now either.
This is a new (10 months) HP laptop with Intel i-3 processor, HD 3000 graphics card (2GB memory), 6GB of RAM, 400 GB hard drive.
Any ideas/input would be appreciated while I wait to hear from DD Support. Thanks !
I to am having the same issues. I have talked to the people at dancin dogg but they said that the club programming wasn't changed and that they are not having any problems and can't duplicate our result so it must be something else. I don't agree cuz everything was fine before the update.
I received the Optishot 2 for Christmas 2014, seemed to work all right at first but then got the update. Couple days later, and it hasn't worked right since. Sometimes it seems the sensors are not working.Sent 2 requests to Dancing Dog for help with no response yet. Tried all the set ups they suggested on their web site. Seems to work good for 15 - 20 minutes then appears some of the sensors don't work with a 20% open or closed club face.If anyone has any answers to this new update, let me know as it was good for a day.
