If you were able to run OptiShot 2010 (version 2.3.1.1824) but are unable to run OptiShot 2.4, the reason is almost always that the video drivers for your graphics card are either not up-to-date or the card is not powerful enough to run the new OptiShot.

The first solution you should try is to Update Your Drivers. This has worked for almost all users in solving this problem.

If there is no update for the driver or the updated driver does not help, you will need to either upgrade your hardware - the graphics card if you can, or the entire computer - or revert to OptiShot 2010.

If you have Custom Clubsets that you want to preserve, you will need to save the file that contains your clubsets data.

You must have your Product Key available. You will be asked to enter this during the installation process. It can be found here.

1. Do a complete uninstall of the current OptiShot. Instructions here.
2. Run the OptiShot 2010 Installation program
• If you have your original Installation disk, insert it into the DVD drive and run the Installation when prompted.
• If you do not have your disk, download the OptiShot 2010 Installation program and run it when the download is complete.
3. After installation, the OptiShot Updater window will appear and download any updates. Wait until the Updater has completed downloading. The actual updates displayed on your machine may be different than those shown below.
    
4. The OptiShot 2.4 Installation program will open to the License Agreement page. Click Cancel.
    
5. Each time OptiShot runs, you will be prompted to download Updates. Each time you must click Ask Later.
